SepaFlash® Cartridges high-capacity spherical silica gel
The Highest Purification Performance

Flash Cartridges pre-packed with high-capacity spherical silica gel deliver the highest purification performance available. The high-capacity spherical silica has 40% higher surface area, doubling the loading capacity of lower surface area silica.

SEPALASH High Efficiency spherical silica are available in the Standard series cartridges or the HP Series Cartridges. 

Standard series packed with ultra-pure, high quality silica gel (40-63µm, 60A°), with a luer-lock in and luer-slip out design. Pressure rated to 300 psi.

Available cartridge sizes: 4g, 12g, 25g, 40g, 80g, 120g, 220g, 330g

HP series packed with ultra-pure, high quality, silica gel (40-63µm, 60A°), with a luer-lock in and luer-lock out design. HP series flash cartridges have the same packing technique and silica gel as the standard series, but they are spin-welded and allow for higher operating pressure of up to 400psi. Available adapter facilitates compatibility with any flash system on the market. This series provides luer in and luer out flexibility.

 

Available cartridge sizes: 4g, 12g, 25g, 40g, 80g, 120g, 220g, 330g.

 

 

Advantages of SepaFlash®  25um (+/-2um) with 700m2/g:

  • Tighter particle size distribution (+/2 microns)
  • Reduced purification time; about 40% to 60% faster
  • Higher loading capacity, from 35 to 45% with higher surface area
  • Greater column sizes options: 4 g to 1600 g and 3000g soon available
  • Higher pressure rating: HP-Series (400 psi) and S-Series (300psi)
  • ECO-friendly Columns: 25 to 35% less solvent used and can be reused (*)
  • Compatible with all flash chromatography systems, for example ISCO, Biotage

 

*Reusability: Single use (or more under certain chemistry conditions) for normal phase, up to 20 runs for bonded phases. (Proper storage and chemistry conditions will allow to be reused)
